J.P. Slot is a trading enterprise specialising in the sale of high-quality slot-car racing components. The idea came from a group of slot fans who were looking for a material that would make better use of the track current. Searching for purer copper, they discovered oxygen-free copper and began to make high-conductivity (Super Extreme Racing) braids

This is a magnified cross-section of a standard copper cable. The “cavities” produced by air in the manufacturing process can be seen. The spaces containing “bubbles” do not conduct electricity
This is a cross-section of an oxygen-free cable. As you can see, the entire space is filled by copper, and so the whole of the real cable section conducts electricity. Also, the copper purification process is even greater, making the resulting copper much purer.
